I received fresh hot food from DoorDash, which was excellent. Butter chicken Basmati rice Homemade French fries Garlic cilantro Nan Everything was fresh and delicious . If you haven't tried this place give them a try. You will be glad you did. Bon appétit

Great service, nice set up, and best of all good tasting food. There was so much flavor and variety of dishes. This was a nice little gem found in Hayward!!!

These chicken momos really impressed me - the seasoning was spot on and they tasted great even without the sauce. I've tried steamed momos all over the country and these easily make my top 5. The wrapper was incredibly thin, similar to what you'd get at Din Tai Fung. Their fried momos hit the mark too, we got both the regular fried and the Sadheko which both were nice and crispy. The paratha was a bit dry and more wheat-heavy than the chewy, flaky ones I usually find elsewhere. The khasi ko pakku packed serious umami flavor with fantastic seasoning. The staff was super friendly and attentive - definitely adding this place to my regular rotation!

Stopped in for dinner on our way to SF, parking is on the street so keep your eyes out as it is busy here! It's a very small, quaint restaurant that is so unassuming. We ordered the papadum, and eggplant stew. The eggplant stew was the best I've EVER had! My husband also had the lentil soup, which was delicious. Service was good, Santos was our server and he had a lot of pride in his service. The bill was very reasonable. Hayward isn't usually on our list of stops, but we would definitely come here again en route to SF!

Top notch... this is the foremost the best Indian/ Himalayan cuisine I had. Cozy place with warm welcome and nice cultural m. Can't go wrong with anything. Tasty food to chai to every bite was delicious .We had Thali one of the best with combination of veg and non-veg. Exceptional customer service, friendly staff (Santos), and of course humble owner. Thank you! Will definitely visit again...truly excels. Dhanyavaad.

My goodness this restaurant was so delicious. The server recommended us to try the chili momos which were perfect if you like a little spicy kick. We also ordered the tandoori chicken with fresh squeezed lemon, which came with 2 sauces, the mint sauce was my favorite. The garlic naan came out fresh and hot, and our chicken tikka masala was the perfect pairing to dip out naan into. I want to try a paneer dish and the biryani next time! 10/10 recommend and definitley coming back.

I can't say enough about the service! They are welcoming, willing to converse with you on where they are from, and super accommodating! We came in around 8pm and it was just us. But more people started rolling in around 9pm to eat. This is a popular place to have traditional Indian/Himalayan/Nepalese dishes! We came for the Momo - -- so glad we were finally able to try these, they were pretty darn good. Little pockets of chicken goodness dipped in their sauce put me in a happy spot.

Simply delightful lunch here today: -kind and present service - felt like I was completing a mini meditation during each interaction -loved the Baingan Bharta - deep smoky flavors super satisfying, came highly recommended -goat thali, fun journey of flavors and textures -roti, generous, cooked to how you request it, wow unheard of -chai tea, made to order, rich and balanced the meal with the creaminess -samosas, only thing not made in house, gf! Def some heat to it, mild-med, mint dipping sauce was perfect -clean and inviting interior and even a selfie wall LOVE. Hayward food scene is leveling up because of spots like this. And yes, I have a new obsession for Nepalese food, so light and healthish for a meal out.

I came here with a friend on a Thursday evening for dinner, and I am so happy we found this restaurant. Aama's Kitchen had the best service by far and budget-friendly meals! The place itself is small with a few large tables and three to four 2-person tables. However, the walls were lively and there is a cute flower wall near the door. We were seated immediately and got our order shortly after. There was only one server working all the tables, but he was so efficient and kind. Honestly, the best smile and charisma I have ever seen from a server! He kindly showed us his favorite dishes, and we ordered the Chicken Tandoori, Aloo Gobi, Chicken Biryani, and Naan. The chicken tandoori was so flavorful and tender! It was enough to feed one hungry person (about six pieces) or a protein to share between two people. The aloo gobi was hearty and a little spicy, I really like how soft the vegetables were. The chicken biryani was also really fluffy and plentiful! Very generous portion! The sauces they gave us to complement the meals were so delicious as well. Our entire meal only cost $50, and with such great service, this place is a 10/10! I will definitely come again to try more Nepali dishes!
